The research focuses on the observation of cyclotron resonance-induced photocurrents in a three-dimensional topological insulator, utilizing an 80 nm strained HgTe film and continuous wave terahertz radiation. Complementary measurements of magneto-transport and radiation transmission provide a thorough analysis of photocurrent formation. The findings reveal that the photocurrent is generated within the topologically protected surface states, highlighting the unique properties of topological insulators in advanced materials science.
