The publication of Thomas S. Kuhn's "Structure of Scientific Revolutions" in 1962 marked a pivotal moment in the history and philosophy of science, reshaping theoretical frameworks and sparking discussions that fostered the development of communities of historians and philosophers of science globally. Since then, various approaches to the history of science have emerged, often referencing Kuhn's work. In October 2012, a conference at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science convened historians whose contributions have significantly influenced the evolution of the field over the past 50 years. This volume compiles reflections from many of these historians, drawing on their presentations and discussions at the conference. Topics include personal experiences with Kuhn and comprehensive analyses of the historical progression of the discipline.
