Workshop „Biological Diversity in Agricultural Landscapes“ – February 09-10, 2012, Berlin-Dahlem With the national strategy on biological diversity, the federal government has identified a way to implement the objectives of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which shall be implemented by 2020. In this context, the conservation of biological diversity is an essential element for sustainable agriculture. Against this background research results of the Julius Kuehn-Institute (JKI) were presented and discussed. The papers were divided into the areas of agricultural diversity of landscape / habitats, species diversity and intraspecific diversity. These topics were presented in 23 presentations with implications for further research and policy advice.
