Mit dem Ziel, den „Reichtum der deutschen Ausdrucksmittel“ zu dokumentieren, bietet der Dornseiff eine unverzichtbare Ressource für Schreibende, die nach bedeutungsverwandten Wörtern (Synonymen) suchen, um ihre Texte präziser zu gestalten.
