Jaké to asi je, když se musí postavit do čela armády poskládané z lidožravých obrů, kyklopů, kostlivců, duchů a dalších nestvůr, kteří si ze svého maličkého velitele vůbec nic nedělají? Amra si takový nezáviděníhodný osud nezasloužil, ale teď už neexistuje cesta zpět. Nezbývá mu nic jiného, než aby se pořádně opřel do vesel a stal se hrozivým vládcem hordy tvorů bojujících proti celému zbytku herního světa. Ale čím hlouběji se ponořuje do hry, tím lépe chápe, že Svět bez hranic je daleko složitější, než by se mohlo na první pohled zdát. Má čím dál silnější pocit, že je jen pěšákem v daleko větší hře někoho jiného. Jeho život – a nejen ten – teď závisí jen na tom, jestli stihne vše pochopit během krátkého času, který mu ještě zbývá. Poslední díl série Temný bylinkář je důstojným závěrem celé série, kde se sice vyřeší všechny palčivé otázky, ale rozhodně to nebude zadarmo. Michael Atamanov si totiž pěkně pohrává s armádou hráčů i se svým ústředním goblinem, a to se svým charakteristickým smyslem pro humor i talentem na popis obřích bitev.
