With encouragement from his aunt Betsy, David begins his career as a solicitor and revisits the Peggotty family, discovering Peggotty happily married to Mr. Barkis. Initially, Dickens' characters may seem overly simplistic, and the narratives complex, but they ultimately reveal profound truths.
