En savoir plus sur le livre
Theodor Fontane's work encompasses five volumes, each exploring different regions of Brandenburg. "Die Grafschaft Ruppin," written between 1859 and 1861, was first published in 1862 and has undergone several revisions, with the text based on the 1892 edition. "Das Oderland," created from 1860 to 1863, also first appeared in 1863, following the same revised edition. "Havelland" was developed between 1863 and 1872, with its first print in 1873, again adhering to the 1892 text. "Spreeland," written from 1859 to 1881, was published in 1882 and similarly follows the revised edition. Lastly, "Funf Schlosser," composed between 1880 and 1888, was first released in 1889. This new edition is presented in a large format (210 x 297 mm) with a two-column layout, edited by Karl-Maria Guth in 2016. The text is based on the collected works of Fontane, edited by notable scholars and published by Nymphenburger Verlagshandlung between 1959 and 1975. This comprehensive collection offers a rich exploration of Brandenburg's landscapes and cultural heritage through Fontane's keen observations and literary style.
