This abstract highlights the significance of specific parameters, namely dissolved oxygen (DO) and chemical oxygen demand (COD), pH in evaluating the quality of drinking water and ensuring its compliance with health and environmental standards and also addresses the potential health risks associated with contaminated drinking water. Pathogens, such as bacteria E.coli/Coliform can pose serious health threats if present in drinking water. Measuring water quality parameters enables the identification and monitoring of these contaminants, helping to prevent waterborne diseases and protect public health.
