‘Corona Times’ is a collection of short stories and poems of romance, faith, loss, despair and human resolve during the trying times of the pandemic. The description of characters and events is as compelling as the Corona Virus is infectious. Good, bad or ugly, one cannot but empathise with the protagonists; whether it is the retired man Jatin babu and his fear of Coronavirus, the migrant workers desperate to go back to their native places or the young couple Vijay and Shikha, who were trying to make the best of the situation and start a romantic affair. There is a ‘Twist in the tale’ in all the stories, to enthrall and keep the interest alive till the end. Each article also conveys a strong message to the readers, denouncing evil and obnoxious practices extant in society today.
