En savoir plus sur le livre

Scientists have long argued about the "how" of time travel; taking sides regarding how it can or cannot be accomplished, both theoretically and technically. Ethicists and lawyers argue only against going backwards in time, because travelers could and definitely would alter the current timeline, potentially changing uncounted millions of lives, many of whom would never be born, and millions of others who would never have otherwise been born. What almost no one considers however, are the people that are abandoned by time in such an event. What becomes of the contemporaries of the time-traveler, who now no longer exist, who are detached from time? Equally important, how is the traveler punished?
