The book is a series of short stories linked by Dunsany's invented pantheon of deities who dwell in Pegana. It was followed by a further collection Time and the Gods and by some stories in The Sword of Welleran and Other Stories . We are delighted to publish this classic book as part of our extensive Classic Library collection. Many of the books in our collection have been out of print for decades, and therefore have not been accessible to the general public.
