Jaimie Sinsitra was a board member of the Gringotts bank. She hoped to just attend quarterly meetings and maybe just vote on the occassional motion, but she was recruited to bring the bank into the 21st century by creating the labor union movement among the bank employees. That was well under way when the PAK decided that they needed help from the Earth wizarding community to search for the long lost civilization of "Inheritors" who understood the universe even better than the PAK themselves did. That search would take her and a small teams of magical recruits thousands of millions of light years from Earth and into dangers that the PAK would not admit existed.
