En savoir plus sur le livre
In growing up we encounter many experiences, many which remain embedded in the mind forever. This book contains a collection of tales while growing up in Hawaii during the depression and living on welfare. What could young children who had no money to buy toys do for toys? Well, how about making a sled even though there is no snow in Honolulu. Other toys could be made from broomsticks, guava tree branches and from broken skates. The first part of the book relives these experiences where we played games, made our own toys and created activities. The remainder of the book contains a collection of thoughts gleaned from experiences of the author in a bible study group and from some speeches and editorials. In the business world there are many situations that start out in a serious direction but can turn into unplanned situations which can be costly and in the end humorous.
