"A Journey Not a Destination" is a self-portrait of experiences captured and perceived through a lens of poetry and erotic short stories. Written over a lifetime in search for identity and belonging due to years of childhood and adult traumas. However, feeling having had no voice or couldn't express in an outwardly expressive public way. Writing became an outlet to escape, release and exploratory thoughts of all types of relationships with different circumstances, attitudes & behaviors. I am...: The focus of the pieces in this project which includes: Love, loss, growth, erotica, muses and recovery. All these things encompass every facet of the authors spiritual being, living a human experience. Some may feel these as just words on a page. They are feelings, emotions, which express followings, fortes and faiths of daily living or survival through emotive mechanisms, perspectives or perceptions of who I am... Some say, "becoming..."
