In this book, students will learn the rudiments of grammar. They will learn rules, exceptions to rules, and creative ways to put words, phrases, and clauses together. Students also will have plenty of practice in analyzing sentences that increase in difficulty. The outcome will be broader learning, deeper appreciation of the beauty of the English language, and greater confidence in writing and speaking. John Lee, is an educator who seeks to inspire students to achieve excellence in their studies and their lives. He has taught at the University of Delaware, St. Thomas Choir School, Drew University, Nyack College, St. Bernard’s School, and The Geneva School of Manhattan. He obtained his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in history from Yale University. His essays have appeared in The Banner, Mere Orthodoxy, Christianity Today, and a number of other publications. He lives in New York City and East Hampton with his wife and two children.
