My reporting has spanned murders, scandals, marriages, premieres, and national political conventions, of which Chicago has hosted more than any other city. Throughout this time, I have experienced a range of emotions—amusement, intrigue, outrage, and fascination—ultimately leading to a deep love for this American giant. I view Chicago as the most misunderstood and underrated city in the world, a unique place I proudly call my City of Big Shoulders.
