The Nabataeans, an ancient Arab people, thrived between the second and fourth century BCE, establishing a kingdom centered on a lucrative trading network. Known for their independence and settlements like Raqmu (modern Petra), they were nomadic Bedouins who sought resources in the Arabian Desert. Their unique culture, marked by finely painted ceramics, was eventually absorbed into Greco-Roman society after their annexation by Emperor Trajan in 106 CE. Later, they transitioned to Christianity during the Later Roman Era, showcasing their adaptability and influence.
