The research explores the link between climate change risk perception and pro-environmental behavior, focusing on the role of personal worry versus general concern. A study involving 141 young adults revealed that personal worry is a stronger predictor of pro-environmental actions. The analysis also addressed inconsistencies in measuring climate change risk perception, highlighting the importance of behavioral intentions in mediating this relationship. The findings contribute to understanding the psychological drivers behind pro-environmental behavior and suggest avenues for future research.
