Education emerges as a critical issue in Gimbi town, reflecting broader challenges faced by urban social services in developing countries. The study identifies several factors hindering educational development, including inadequate school infrastructure, a shortage of qualified teachers, and low community involvement. These shortcomings contribute to high dropout rates and poor academic performance. Recommendations include increasing budget allocations, constructing more educational facilities, and enhancing stakeholder engagement to improve both coverage and quality of education, ultimately aiming to meet the Millennium Development Goals.
