Founded by Noah Falk and partners, the town thrived on affordable land and innovative logging technologies. Its population swelled with local and immigrant workers, creating a vibrant community of around 400. However, by the mid-20th century, Falk transformed into a ghost town, with its remnants now integrated into the Headwaters Forest Reserve, overseen by the Bureau of Land Management.
