Focusing on the effectiveness of principal preparation programs, this comparative study analyzes the training offered in Saudi Arabia and Ontario, Canada. It investigates whether these programs equip new principals with the necessary skills to tackle real-life challenges, including technological and political competencies. By assessing the perceptions of novice principals, the study identifies similarities and differences between the two approaches. Additionally, it proposes the creation of an exemplary program that integrates the strengths of both models to enhance leadership preparation.
