Toy box

En savoir plus sur le livre

It can be used as a foundation to any main primary course. It builds up listening and speaking skills through a variety of activities appropriate to the age group, such as simple games, songs, and tasks involving colouring, cutting out, and sticking. Most of the pages are in black and white so that children can fill in and complete the illustrations themselves. The eight centre pages are full-colour cut-outs for use in the activities. Reading and writing are optional, and can be introduced when appropriate. All the language necessary for the activities in the Pupil's Book is recorded on the cassette. The Pupil's Book itself contains no written instructions. Children learn a limited and basic vocabulary including greetings, colours, numbers, food, clothes, and toys. This is consolidated by the picture dictionary at the back of the Pupil's Book.
