En savoir plus sur le livre

Is there such a thing as an anti-social butterfly? Greta Oto, an entomologist, would relate. Preferring bugs over humans, she feels out of place, except for her twin brother, Danny, with whom she has recently fallen out. When she secures a research position in the rainforest, she thinks she can leave her troubles behind. However, upon learning that Danny has suffered an aneurysm and is hospitalized, she rushes back to small-town America to support him. Returning home forces her to confront her past, including her difficult soon-to-be sister-in-law, her estranged mother, and her ex-boyfriend Brandon, who has moved on with someone more socially adept. Brandon runs the local butterfly conservatory, complicating Greta's life further as her dissertation hangs in the balance. As she navigates the chaos of her homecoming, Greta realizes that real life is messy and requires vulnerability. She must decide whether she has the courage to open up to those she loves and who want to love her in return. This unconventional tale explores self-discovery, relationships, and the importance of stepping outside one’s comfort zone to find what truly matters.
