A publication about the artwork Requiem by Katie Paterson as part of National Glass Centre's Glass Exchange project. Requiem is a glass urn filled with samples of dust spanning a timescale from before the creation of Earth to date. The artwork places a focus on the change humanity has brought about in a relatively small timescale. Featuring an introduction from Richard & Florence Ingleby, essays from Jay Griffiths and David Farrier, as well as text from Jan Zalasiewicz. Published on occasion of the exhibitions: 'Katie Paterson: Requiem', 9 Apr - 11 Jun 2022, Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh, UK; and also 'Glass Exchange', 18 Jun - 11 Sep 2022, National Glass Centre, Sunderland, UK.
