B&B owner and gluten-free baker Poppy McAllister, along with her lively Aunt Ginny, dives into a mystery at the annual Cold Spring Village antique show. As summer peaks at the Butterfly House Bed and Breakfast in Cape May, tourists create chaos reminiscent of a Jersey Shore hurricane. Among them is Courtney Whipple and his family of antique dealers, with his son Auggie eager to authenticate a unique piece he believes will fetch a fortune. However, rival dealer Grover Prickle claims it was stolen from his store. Poppy and Aunt Ginny attend the auction, hoping to bid on an armoire for the B&B, but instead find an array of potentially deadly items, from ancient blades to knitting needles. Oddly, neither Auggie nor Grover appears, nor is the coveted item they both claim to possess. The situation escalates when a body falls from the armoire Poppy had her eye on, stabbed through the heart. Now, amidst competitive dealers and makeshift weapons, Poppy must unravel the mystery of who transformed the auction house into a crime scene.
