En savoir plus sur le livre

In Dark Ages Britain, sisters Isla and Blue reside near the Ghost City, the remnants of the once-great Roman settlement Londinium, which locals believe is haunted. Their home is a place of exile for them and their father, a renowned blacksmith accused of using dark magic to forge powerful swords. The local warlord, Osric, has imprisoned their father, forcing him to create weapons solely for his ambitions. While the sisters have enjoyed a life of freedom—Blue connecting with nature and Isla secretly learning blacksmithing—everything changes with their father's sudden death. They face the threat of enslavement by Osric and his ruthless son, Vort. Their only hope lies in fleeing to the Ghost City, where they encounter a hidden community of rebel women living among the ruins. As they adapt to this new life, Blue and Isla find solace and companionship, but their safety is precarious. With the ruins crumbling and danger looming from the men pursuing them, the sisters must rely on their skills, resourcefulness, and the magic of their ancestors to fight for their survival.
