"Generally known and often treated in corresponding monographs is his (Rahner's) theory of „anonymous Christianity“. But until now no one has taken the pains to study his entire work to find out the chronological development of his statements on the salvific universality of Christianity. In this dissertation Linus Ibekwe has, first and foremost, studied Rahner's work chronologically and with it has filled the said gap in Rahner research„ (Prof. Karl-Heinz Menke, Moderator/1st Asseser of the dissertation). “Clear is that the writer undertakes a historico-analytical work on Rahner's theology of the salvific universality of Christ and with it he makes a valuable contribution to research.
