Memoirs of a Polish Jewish woman who survived World War II hiding in occupied Poland, with "Aryan" documents. Her father and stepmother were deported from the Kraków ghetto; she escaped from the ghetto and hid in Kraków and then in Warsaw. In the region of Radom she was employed as a cook for German soldiers.
