En savoir plus sur le livre
Restoring human motor and cognitive function has been a captivating research area over the past century. The interface between the human nervous system and electro-mechanical rehabilitation machines is transitioning from research to clinical practice, enhancing the capabilities of therapists, clinicians, and researchers in rehabilitation, diagnosis, and knowledge generation. The 2012 International Conference on Neurorehabilitation (ICNR2012) unites researchers and students from Clinical Rehabilitation, Applied Neurophysiology, and Biomedical Engineering, addressing diverse topics such as the clinical impact of technology, brain-computer interfaces in rehabilitation, neuromotor and neurosensory modeling, biomechanics, neural prostheses, neuro-robotics, and neuromodulation. This Proceedings book features general contributions in the form of 2-page extended abstracts from oral and poster sessions, along with special sessions. It also includes details on pre- and post-conference workshops with invited contributions from renowned researchers. Selected papers will be published in international journals like JNER and JACCES in their extended versions in upcoming Special Issues. Additionally, the Proceedings provide brief descriptions of keynote lectures from esteemed professors and thematic round tables discussing technological and institutional matters.
