En savoir plus sur le livre
The theory of emergent complex systems has evolved significantly, yet ongoing discussions have struggled to clarify fundamental definitions and their implications. This challenge arises primarily from the dominance of interdisciplinary discourse led by economics, management, and social sciences, rather than by formal sciences like physics. The universality of a theory tends to increase with its mathematical connectivity. Therefore, to develop a self-consistent theory of systems that aligns with its lexicology, syntax, and semantics, it is essential to embed it within established mathematical frameworks. This approach allows for the contextual reflection of the theory within the broader understanding of nature's structure and evolution. The current project serves as a survey of systems through a suitable metaphysics of emergence. The mathematically grounded exploration of systems represents the first step in a comprehensive approach to understanding our world. Ultimately, the key focus is on exploring the possibilities of grasping experience, while acknowledging that experience transcends what can be articulated.
