Terrorism poses a persistent threat to modern societies, with significant incidents over the past 25 years, including the World Trade Center attack, Oklahoma City bombing, and the Boston bombing, primarily utilizing conventional explosives. However, the potential for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) terrorism, though less frequently highlighted, remains a serious concern, as evidenced by events like the Tokyo subway sarin attack in 1995. Effective communication with the public during a CBRN crisis is crucial for raising awareness of potential dangers and preventing the spread of misinformation.
