Focusing on corpus-driven distribution, this study explores how individual semantic features can predict the meanings of undefined words using various linguistic resources, including the Chinese Gigaword Corpus and HowNet. It analyzes collocation clusters of four specific words—chi1 "eat," wan2 "play," huan4 "change," and shao1 "burn"—by examining character and concept similarities. The findings validate the hypothesis that distinct clusters correspond to different senses, showcasing the effectiveness of a corpus-based, computational methodology in linguistic prediction.
