This book addresses everyone involved in education, including parents, teachers from kindergarten to university, and those in various institutions. It critiques J. A. C. Hattie's extensive meta-analysis of teaching strategies, highlighting the neglect of unconscious nonverbal or body strategies, which often act as barriers to effective intellectual strategies and content knowledge. The current educational approach has led to significant negative outcomes, such as obstructing rational education, creating social stratification within learning groups, and posing health risks, as evidenced by studies in Strasbourg and Vienna. The concept of “HOLISTIC – nonverbal and verbal – TEACHING” advocates for a more natural, equitable, and healthy educational direction. It challenges the outdated, predominantly verbal professionalization of teaching methods that harm individuals' nature and abilities. Recent interdisciplinary findings indicate that a restructuring of teacher training and education is crucial for enhancing well-being rather than jeopardizing it. The book presents both epistemological and empirical insights, along with practical suggestions for initiating change within the current educational system. Ultimately, it emphasizes that transformation begins with the individual, aiming to inspire personal change to improve the inhumane aspects of teaching.
