The Swiss artist Zilla Leutenegger (born in 1968) will be represented with a solo exhibition both in the Museum Morsbroich in 2013 and in the Museum Franz Gertsch in spring 2014. In preparation for these events she has produced a new artist's book. Her works' autobiographical approaches are characteristic of her art. Before her degree course in art and her period as research assistant at the ETH Zurichin the department of architecture, Leutenegger studied at the Business School in Chur. In this period she was intensively concerned with fashion - an analysis over many years that still greatly influences her artistic activity today. This book provides the biography of Fairlady Z, her alter ego. Works with and on pieces of clothing are displayed that tell history.
