The rapid growth of data has necessitated the development of efficient algorithms and data structures for effective management and processing. The International Conference on Algorithmic Aspects in Information and Management (AAIM) focuses on original algorithmic research related to immediate applications and fundamental issues in information management and management science. This conference brings together experts from computer science, operations research, applied mathematics, economics, and related fields. This volume features papers presented at the 6th AAIM, held from July 19-21, 2010, in Weihai, China. Out of 50 submissions, 31 papers were accepted after thorough reviews by three Program Committee members, assessing quality, originality, soundness, and significance. The program also included two keynote talks. The conference's success was due to the contributions of many individuals. Special thanks are due to the Program Committee members for their expert evaluations and to the local organizers at Shandong University's School of Computer Science and Technology for their exceptional efforts. We also express our gratitude to the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Montana State University, University of Warwick, and Shandong University for their sponsorship.
