En savoir plus sur le livre

The concept of global governance has elicited varied responses within the legal discipline. This volume presents a proposal that examines global governance through a public law lens, focusing on international public authority and utilizing international institutional law for its legal framework. This initiative stems from a broader project initiated in 2007, involving collaboration among directors of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, research fellows, and distinguished members of the Law Faculty at the University of Heidelberg. Most of the content was originally published in the November 2008 issue of the German Law Journal (http://www.germanlawjournal.com). We extend our heartfelt thanks to the journal's editors in chief, Professors Russell Miller and Peer Zumbansen, for allowing us to feature our papers as a special issue. Special acknowledgment goes to the 2008-2009 University of Idaho College of Law German Law Journal student editors for their dedicated efforts during the publication process. Additionally, Eva Richter, Michael Riegner, and the editorial team at the Institute played crucial roles in bringing this publication to fruition.
