The economic demands on the top badminton clubs in Belgium are growing continuously and the need for more economic based activities becomes more and more essential. Necessary adjustments on the club level are very rarely implemented. If so, they mostly are only partly improved. A systematic approach to professional management patterns in these clubs seems unavoidable. Having acknowledged these issues, it is the goal to introduce a management concept that consists of theoretical guidelines for chosen areas of the sports club management and apply them to the economic situation of the top badminton clubs in Belgium.
