The prodigal son is a believer, who fall morally (and not only morally), lost everything, but came to himself, repented and returned to his heavenly Father. Father received him with joy, and – against human mind – even honoured him! His brother, it is the church, who is all time with the Father, serves Him, shares everything with Him, but cut herself off from the repenting sinner and doesn’t want to have fellowship with him. Such Ecclesia doesn’t understand Father; she doesn’t know Father’s heart and has to hear the rebuking words: “It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother … is found”. Such church has to be clearly rebuked, re-evangelized and re-taught, in order to experience grace! The implications have the highest rang.
