En savoir plus sur le livre
Glaswegian photographer David Rankin was the typical English enfant terrible. While at art school In London, he refused to let his teachers assess his work and at his first solo exhibition, he caused a minor scandal when he prominently displayed a photograph of his erect penis. His ascent in the world of fashion photography began after he founded the London-based independent magazine Dazed and Confused. Rankin's cover portraits of celebrities from the cutting edge of fashion, photography, music, film, art, and culture are astonishingly intimate. The photographs in this collection manage to combine an in your face sexuality with an almost surreal humor - a distinctive style that never fails to shock. Rankin has self-published several books and is currently photographing international advertising campaigns.
