The seventh International Conference on Evolution Equations and their applications took place from October 30 to November 4 at the CIRM in Trento, Italy. This event aimed to unite leading experts in the field, fostering interactions between established scientists and emerging researchers, as well as bridging pure and applied disciplines. The conference extended its focus beyond Physical and Life Sciences to include Industry and Economics. Key topics addressed recent advancements in various areas, including moving boundary problems, asymptotics in non-linear Volterra equations, and Poincaré inequalities on stratified sets. Other discussions revolved around time operators and Markov processes in physics, the behavior of granular matter, and stochastic aspects of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation. Additionally, the conference explored Paley-Wiener results applicable to classical and generalized functions, Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operators and processes, quasilinear PDEs with memory operators, and semi-group approaches in economics, particularly in pricing theory. Other notable topics included convolution-evolution equations in aeroelasticity, advancements in age-structured models, and developments in maximal regularity.
