Acute gastroenterological conditions are associated with significant morbidity and mortality, necessitating close collaboration between gastroenterology and surgery for optimal therapy. Innovations like CT-enteroclysis and CT-colonography offer precise, immediate results that can guide optimal treatment strategies. This publication is tailored for gastroenterologists, endoscopists, surgeons, intensivists, and other physicians managing acute cases, providing them with the necessary tools to determine the best therapeutic options for their patients.
