En savoir plus sur le livre

The European Dependable Computing Conference (EDCC) was conceived when the Iron Curtain fell, as a group of researchers and educators in fault-tolerant computing from various European nations recognized the need for collaboration. They formed a steering committee responsible for organizing the conference calendar and appointing chairs for individual events. While no single European or global organization oversees the conference, three national interest groups support its activities: the SEE Working Group “Dependable Computing” in France, the GI/ITG/GMA Technical Committee on Dependability and Fault Tolerance in Germany, and the AICA Working Group “Dependability of Computer Systems” in Italy. Additionally, several global professional organizations, including IEEE and IFIP, lend their support. Prague was chosen as the conference venue due to its accessibility, beauty, and history of hosting international events, including one of the last FTSD conferences. This setting enhances the conference's appeal, drawing visitors to engage in discussions on dependable computing.
