Computational intelligence

En savoir plus sur le livre

Celebrating ten years of "Fuzzy Days" in Dortmund, this conference has evolved from a small workshop in 1991 to a prominent event in the field of Computational Intelligence. It was among the first to use this term in 1994, despite a larger conference being announced earlier. The success of this gathering is attributed to the high quality of both reviewed and invited papers, along with its effective organization. Each submission undergoes a rigorous review process by five referees, with only about 50% accepted, a figure slightly lower this year. I extend my gratitude to all who chose to participate in Dortmund's Fuzzy Days. While some strong abstracts were not accepted due to limitations on the number of presentations, I encourage those who were not selected to submit again in the future. Our conference enjoys a solid regional reputation, and I am thankful to the City of Dortmund, its Mayor Dr. Langemeyer, the Dortmund project, DFG – Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, KVR – Kommunalverband Ruhrgebiet, Martin-Schmeißer-Stiftung, and C-line AG/Quantum GmbH for their invaluable support.
