George Gerald Reisman, to jeden z najwybitniejszych wolnorynkowych ekonomistów amerykańskich, zwolennik leseferyzmu i austriackiej szkoły ekonomicznej. Jest jednym z niewielu żyjących uczniów Ludwiga von Misesa, u którego się doktoryzował. Reisman urodził się w Nowym Jorku 1937 roku. Jest autorem głośnej książki zatytułowanej Jak rząd niszczy gospodarkę (The Government Against the Economy), która ukaże się wkrótce nakładem naszego wydawnictwa. Jego magnum opus to wydany w 1996 roku Kapitalizm traktat ekonomiczny (Capitalism: A Treatise on Economics). Prace Reismana są zawsze wydarzeniem naukowym i gospodarczym. Pozostają one także pod silnym wpływem swej wieloletniej nauczycielki, Ayn Rand. Reisman uważa, że Rand wywarła na nim równie wielki wpływ, co jego pierwszy mentor, Ludwig von Mises. W latach 80. ubiegłego stulecia, wraz ze swą żoną, Edith Packer, zorganizował Reisman The Thomas Jefferson School of Philosophy, Economics, and Psychology, będącą przez lata forum, na którym wypowiadali się tacy wolnościowcy, jak Walter E.
