Allgemeine Uebersicht der einfachen und zusammengesetzten Salze - In vier Tabellen ist ein unveränderter, hochwertiger Nachdruck der Originalausgabe aus dem Jahr 1789. Hansebooks ist Herausgeber von Literatur zu unterschiedlichen Themengebieten wie Forschung und Wissenschaft, Reisen und Expeditionen, Kochen und Ernährung, Medizin und weiteren Genres. Der Schwerpunkt des Verlages liegt auf dem Erhalt historischer Literatur. Viele Werke historischer Schriftsteller und Wissenschaftler sind heute nur noch als Antiquitäten erhältlich. J. B. Trommsdorff, als „Vater der wissenschaftlichen Pharmazie“ anerkannt, gründete das angesehene „Journal der Pharmacie“ und setzte sich für standes- und sozialpolitische Belange der Goethe-Zeit ein. Seine umfassende Korrespondenz dokumentiert die Entwicklung von Chemie und Pharmazie im frühen 19. Jahrhundert sowie die Veränderungen im Apothekenwesen und in der Apothekerausbildung. Diese Edition umfasst über 250 Briefpartner und mehr als 1500 erhaltene Briefe, die als bedeutende wissenschaftshistorische Quelle gelten. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf den umfangreichen Korrespondenzen mit Emil Osann und Jacques Peschier. Osanns Briefe bieten Einblicke in ihre gemeinsame literarische Arbeit über die Mineralquellen in Kaiser-Franzensbad. Die Korrespondenzen mit Peschier, Johann Samuel Friedrich Pagenstecher, Christian Gottfried Nestler, Pierre Jean Robiquet und Jean Baptiste van Mons belegen den wissenschaftlichen Austausch zwischen Frankreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz und verdeutlichen Trommsdorffs Bestrebungen, Kontakte zur französischsprachigen Wissenschaft zu knüpfen. Zudem sind zahlreiche Briefe ehemaliger Schüler sowie Kommunikationen mit prominenten Wissenschaftlern wie Theodor Friedrich Ludwig Nees von Esenbeck, Julius Theodor Christian Ratzeburg und Christoph Heinrich Pfaff enthalten.
