Der Internationale Hegel-Kongress 2005 hat sich dem Thema Logik und Sprache gewidmet. Beabsichtigt war, die bisweilen dunklen Hegelschen Texte zu erhellen und deren Deutung voranzutreiben. Ferner sollte das Gespräch der unterschiedlichen Strömungen der Philosophie unserer Zeit im Blick auf Hegel befördert werden. Politik stellt eines der ältesten Themen der Philosophie dar. Die Sophisten und Platon haben es gewissermaßen erfunden, während der schulmäßige Aristotelismus die Politik bis an die Schwelle der Kantischen Denkrevolution begleitet hat.
