This booklet marks a significant advancement in AK education, representing a collaborative effort by Wolfgang Gerz and Tracy S Gates, with contributions from Dr. Ivan Ramsˇak, who was involved in earlier editions. Previous AK educational materials omitted many muscle descriptions, focusing instead on those relevant to general medical practice. However, this edition addresses the needs of practitioners specializing in manual medicine, emphasizing the importance of local examination and treatment. It provides a comprehensive overview of all muscles valuable for manual practices, organized alphabetically for simplicity. Important reflexes and nutritional associations are included for each muscle, although some smaller muscles lack these associations due to incomplete investigations within ICAK. Common reasons for examining small muscles include pain from trauma, rheumatoid, and degenerative conditions, as well as certain neurological issues. Neural therapy is discussed as a potential treatment option, despite its limited use among AK practitioners in the UK and USA. The booklet also lists six effective remedies for painful musculoskeletal conditions, including homeopathic and phytotherapeutic options, enzymes, minerals, and vitamins. Additionally, it features graphic representations of sedation points, neurolymphatic, and neurovascular reflexes at the end.
