Zároveň nabádá k aktivnější účasti žen ve veřejném životě jakožto projevu spoluzodpovědnosti za budoucnost naší civilizace. První polovina knihy je věnována obecnější filozofické problematice veřejného a soukromého, druhá část se už soustřeďuje přímo na vztah ženy - politika.
