Alaska State Trooper Captain Meadow received a worried call from an old friend named Gus. The captain asked old friend Trooper Penny Rossiter to stop on her way home to check on the old man. Gus Sampson's home was eleven miles out Funny River Road outside Soldotna, Alaska.
