      Carol Anderson stumbles onto a get rich scheme by the honorable mayor, Elva Halstrom. Carol mentioned to her husband that she had some devastating information about some community leaders. Jack Marcus, a university professor is capable of making perfect counterfeit money, only to be caught. Elva Halstrom, the mayor, returned to Cincinnati and confesses her bad judgement call. She asks her constituents to forgive her. Eventually all three involved in the scam are identified and are forced to pay their debt to society. It is how they are caught that pulls on your heart strings. Even the bad cop has redeeming qualities.
